Size interpretation: number of teeth on the timing belt pulley / pulley profile / maximum belt width (inch) / compatible taper bush type.
Nominal pitch diameter calculation (mm): number of teeth × 22.225 / 3.14.
The advantage of taper bush timing belt pulleys is that a pulley with a given diameter can be easily adapted to different shaft diameters simply by changing the taper bush. If the application or shaft diameter changes, the existing pulley can usually be reused with a new bush, without replacing the pulley itself. The pulleys below are supplied without taper bushes; these must be ordered separately.
Pulleys up to 40 teeth are supplied with flanges; from 48 teeth upwards they are supplied without flanges. XH taper bush timing belt pulleys are made of cast iron and phosphated for corrosion protection.
